Supparit Thaweekiat (Rit)

Supparit’s life changed when his son was born. Diagnosed with Alfi Syndrome from birth, Zen has defied the odds in terms of his physical and emotional development thanks to his father’s formidable resolve. From learning to swim, to expressing himself verbally in his own way, Zen is a joyful child who his very social. Well known in special needs circles in Thailand, Supparit has dedicated his life to helping his son and others like him. He has a natural ability to observe and read children and is immediately sensitive to their needs and what is necessary to motivate them. He decided to pursue a professional certification in Creative Arts Therapy, knowing that this approach would be a wonderful way to work with children and foster their growth and expression.


  • Professional Certificate (96 Hours) in Creative Arts Therapy from Chulalongkorn University & Haifia University (Art Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy, Psychodrama, Narrative Therapy, Playback Theatre).

  • Certification (12 hours) from Rajankul Institute in Art Therapy for Persons with Intellectual and Development Disabilities.

  • Certificated Facilitator of “Rainbow of Desires” Drama Technique in Theatre of The Oppressed.

  • Extensive work experience (900+ hours) helping kids with special needs, disabilities and psychiatric disorders, as well as, consulting with and teaching their families.

  • Experience working with children and adolescents with special needs under a Special Education Psychologist and with Camphill Curative Education Concept in Thailand.

  • Currently studying Mind Restructuring Therapy by Using Mandalas and Zentangles from the Healing Education Institute.

  • Bachelor Degree in Archaeology -  1st Class Honours, Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University.

Workshops last 1 - 12 weeks, depending on course:​

  • Courses can be topic driven based on need (i.e. relationship building, boosting self-esteem / self image, dealing with trauma, setting new goals etc ...);

  • Specific pre-set courses offered around a myriad of topics including: mindfulness, creative story telling, visual thinking, social awareness, and many more;
