Social Skills Training
Social Skills Training serves to prompt and facilitate various social skills in young children. We aim to practice social skills such as greeting, initiating, responding, and maintaining reciprocal interaction in a 1:1 setting. Once these skills have been achieved, we gradually generalize them in a natural setting, or in a social skills group, where the child can practice them with same aged peers. This training is for children 6 years and up.
The programme is run as a 10-week programme, however, progress and needs for further sessions is discussed and assessed along the way.
